A Beard balm has many similarities to a Beard Oil. Both consist of carrier oils that care for your Beard and essential oils with specific properties. By adding beeswax to the Beard Oil, the Beard Oil becomes hard and you get a Beard balm. The amount of beeswax added to the Beard Oil is just enough to make the Beard balm hard at room temperature.
A beard balm, in addition to the nourishing and caring properties for the skin and hair, has another important property. That is styling your Beard and ensuring it stays in shape. The beeswax is responsible for this. Because the beeswax doesn't dry out, it keeps your Beard in shape throughout the day and keeps the bristles out.
As your Beard gets longer, the wave in your beard hair makes your Beard look rougher and coarser, resulting in the hairs sticking out in all directions. With the beard balm and a comb, you can ensure that your Beard looks neat and well-groomed again. Together with a hairdryer, you can easily make sure your Beard is in the desired shape.
Apply beard balm with your fingertips. Take a small amount of balm on your fingertips and rub it warm. Once the balm becomes a bit warm, it is easier to apply. Now distribute the balm over your Beard and start at the skin, massaging the balm through your hair. The beard balm is also easy to distribute using a Beard Brush. This way, you comb the balm through your hair and style it at the same time.
