About Layrite Pomade
It all started in 2001 with a classic pomade for the barbershop of the guys from Layrite, Harleywood in Orange County. The eccentric Donnie Hawley is the founder of this barbershop and the founder of Layrite. After experimenting and mixing Vaseline, Mason Pomade and Old Spice After Shave, he acquired a taste for it and began to develop his own pomade. The result was the Original Pomade, which over the years has become the water-based pomade of the USA.
The name came about when Donnie Hawley tested his homemade product in his hairdressing salon and a customer said to him, "This is the only stuff that gets my hair right".

Rub a small amount between the palms of your hands until the clay softens. Distribute evenly through damp or dry hair and style as desired. The drier the hair, the higher the hold, the more matte the finish.
