Products for Shaving

Not every man needs the same products, but for the best shaving result, it's best to use the right products we recommend. For a shaving result without irritation or dried-out skin. For Shaving, it is wise to use a pre shave. A pre shave contains oils that soften the hairs, making them easier to Shaving. There is then less resistance and thus less chance of irritation. The oils also provide a soft layer on the skin so that the blade glides easily over the skin.

Some people are satisfied with Shaving using a Shaving Foam. And the Shaving Foam we sell in the webshop are of good quality and not comparable to the Shaving Foam from the supermarket. However, for the best shaving experience, we recommend a Shaving Soap, transparent Shaving Gel, or shaving cream. It requires a bit more technique but provides the best result. A Shaving Soap lifts the hairs well and softens the hairs and skin.

The right razor

Besides using a Shaving Foam or Shaving Soap, the razor is just as important. You could easily go for a cartridge razor that you know from the drugstore or supermarket. For the smoothest result without irritation, we recommend the Safety Razor with a double edge blade razor blade. Also known as classic Shaving. It seems like a significant investment but is more cost-effective in the long term and much better for your skin. It requires some technique but makes Shaving an enjoyable activity and leaves your skin wonderfully smooth.

If you are a real enthusiast with a lot of experience, you could of course also go for a Shavette or Straight Razor.

After Shaving

After Shaving, the skin can be a bit dry or the skin may be somewhat irritated. Also, pores remain open. For that, most men use a aftershave. An aftershave removes bacteria and closes the pores. That prevents irritation and razor burn. A aftershave is available in a Hair Gel, balm, or just liquid form.
