Kammen guide voor mannen: Welke kam heb jij nodig?

You probably just grab a random comb without thinking about it. However, you can't judge all Combs with the same brush Shaving. Each comb has its own function, so in some cases, you might be better off using one comb over another. We are going to explain it all to you in this Combs guide.

What is the difference between a comb and a brush?

Many men think that a comb and a brush can do pretty much the same for your Hair. This is not the case. Combs and Hair Brushes are two very different Styling Tools, suitable for different purposes. For instance, a comb is mainly used for detangling wet Hair and distributing Styling products like a Pomade evenly through your Hair. With a comb, you also have a lot of control when styling, especially with short to medium length Hair. Hair Brushes on the other hand are usually used on dry Hair, or during blow-drying. A brush is ideal for distributing sebum and oils over your Hair and removing dirt from your hairstyle. Especially for longer Hair, we recommend a brush. Want to know more about Hair Brushes? A plastic comb is often seen as cheap and less efficient because their teeth can break easily and ridges can remain on the comb during the production process. This makes a plastic comb more likely to get stuck in your Hair.

Combs made of horn

A comb made of horn - for example, buffalo horn - is heavy in weight and very sturdy. Horn combs are made of natural Material, which means the purchase price is slightly higher than that of another type of comb. Still, choosing a horn comb is definitely worth your money!

A horn comb does not cause static electricity. Additionally, a horn comb will not damage your scalp. The moderate hardness of a horn comb will massage your scalp to stimulate the capillaries of your scalp. This makes them thicker, increases blood circulation, and provides the brain mechanism with more nutrients and oxygen. This can help you, among other things, to stimulate hair growth and counteract Hair Loss!

Benefits:

  1. Combs made of horn prevent static electricity
  2. Combs made of horn stimulate blood circulation
  3. Combs made of horn are rich in amino acids and keratin
  4. Combs made of horn are 100% natural
  5. Combs made of horn are of high quality and last a very long time
