The fragrances made by the Forbes clan always had to be unique and represent the landscapes near their beautiful Scottish castle. Only after very thorough research, testing, and development, may the most carefully composed products bear the family emblem (the stag with antlers).

The origin of Castle Forbes
Castle Forbes started as a small perfumery in a castle on the River Don in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The castle (Forbes), together with the estate, comprises 600 acres and is the ancestral castle of the head of the Forbes clan. Castle Forbes has always been run by the Forbes, making it a truly Scottish family business.
Initially, Castle Forbes only made bespoke fragrances for a small group of local customers, but today the range of Castle Forbes has grown into a fairly large assortment of luxury shaving products and fragrances for men.

1445 is a delightful timeless fragrance that comes about through the perfect ratio of top notes of petitgrain and lemon, flowing into the middle notes of tarragon and lavender. All resting on the base notes of vetiver, clove, and patchouli.

This fragrance has, as the name suggests, a delightful smoky and woody scent of cedar and sandalwood.
Lavender
The lavender scent is a delightful, traditional fragrance and is derived from essential lavender oil.
