The origins of these popular blades lie in Turkey, where they were manufactured by Permatik Celik Sanayi. However, following the acquisition by Gillette in 2003, production was moved to Procter & Gamble's extensive facilities in St. Petersburg, Russia.
To ensure safety, each Perma-Sharp blade is individually wrapped in kerosene paper. The environmentally conscious cardboard box contains 5 of these knives, deliberately avoiding the use of plastic. Think of the environment: store used blades in a blade bank and dispose of them separately.
