The story behind SA.AL&CO

It all started with Istvan Laszloffy who began his career in finance but was anything but happy with it. He secretly wished to build something himself. When he went to work in Budapest at a family business that makes shoes and gloves, he was inspired by what it means to make truly beautiful products. Together with the emerging market for true craftsmanship and his interest in men's skincare, he came up with the idea for a skincare brand. He joined forces with his best friend Michael Sarnitz and they settled in Vienna, Austria. This is where SA.AL&CO was born, consisting of the initials of the last names of both friends. CO in this case stands for friends, family, and employees who have all contributed.

The idea behind SA.AL&CO is to offer a refined alternative to the standard skin products on the market. Solely focusing on the quality and reliability of the product for every man, combined with a modern and masculine appearance.

The undeniable quality of the ingredients

What distinguishes the products are the ingredients. All products are made based on Alpine spring water from Tyrol. All products are also certified as natural and even vegan. The packaging is made of 99% recycled material.

We haven't even talked about the concentration yet. Where other brands only put a small concentration of active ingredients in their products, SA.AL&CO does this really differently. The products are very potent but never aggressive. Thanks to the use of a consistent mix of essential oils, all products have the same subtle and fresh scent.

The standard is quite high at SA.AL&CO. This is also evident from the small batches they make. The products are never made in large quantities, but always in small batches to keep the quality as high as possible.
