This fragrance was introduced in 1951 and takes its name from the number of the Floris London store on Jermyn Street. The place that was originally the family home and still is the heart of the perfume house. One of the loyal wearers of No. 89 is Ian Fleming, better known as the creator of James Bond.
Orange and bergamot together with lavender and neroli give this fragrance a classic eau de cologne aspect. Warmed with a touch of nutmeg, the floral heart is underlined by the woody accord of sandalwood, cedar and vetiver.
- Top: Bergamot, lavender, neroli, nutmeg, orange, petitgrain
- Heart: Iris, geranium, rose, ylang ylang
- Base: Cedarwood, Musk, Oakmoss, Sandalwood, Vetiver
Apply a small amount of perfume to areas where you feel your heartbeat. For example, think of your wrist, neck and the inside of the elbow. The hair is also a good carrier of perfume. A perfume develops much more slowly in the hair, so that the scent remains lively for longer. Note that an alcohol-based perfume can dry out your hair. Therefore spray some perfume in the air 1 to 2 times and walk through the 'perfume cloud'.
Alcohol Denat., Aqua (Water, Eau), Parfum (Fragrance), Diisopropyl Adipate, Benzophenone - 3
