While vacationing in the US with his newly grown beard, Daniel Mahony, the founder of The Groomed Man Co., came across a certain kind of solution that helped against the irritations of ingrown hairs such as itching, dryness and redness.

On his return to Australia, Daniel realized that there was a shortage of these types of men's products and decided to fill this shortage with his new knowledge about the use of organic botanical oils.

He decided to produce his own botanical beard oils and they quickly became popular with the bearded population of Melbourne. Following this local success, The Groomed Man Co. officially launched worldwide in 2014.
